I’m approaching the peak of my reading powers. I’ve been reading for 23 years obsessively at this point. I have a company with the name Hardcover after my love for reading. I read at work. I read at home. I read in traffic. I read at the laundromat (you get the point) with that much reading you pick up some habits that can 100 % allow you to enhance the experience that is reading. What is that you may ask? The story behind the start—the story behind the start. It gives you a peak inside of the author’s intention. Intent is easiest to convey in the beginning because you are supposed to start with the end in mind. With that said, I find out that a man name Muhammad is having a mid-life crisis he is trying to make sense of the world and he need to get away by hisself. His wife tell him go ahead and take some me time, he ends up in a cave on Mount Hira. In the cave he encounters an Angel named Gabriel, the Angel Gabriel tells Muhammad to Read, Muhammad says I cannot read, Gabriel says it again Read and Muhammad who was illiterate says I cannot read and this goes on again til Gabriel says Ok then— Recite. Then Muhammad (may peace be upon his name) Recites the first five lines of The Holy Quran. “Read in the name of thy Lord Who creates, Creates man from a clot, Read and thy Lord is most Generous, Who taught by the pen, Taught man what he knew not." I read that and I cried for what seem like 1400 years, 450 in America, 44 years of my life, and 69 years of My Mother’s life.
